Essentia Health is proud to host the second annual Renee Van Nett Lectureship.
Van Nett was the first Native American woman elected to Duluth’s city council and the first Native American to serve in the role of council president. In 2022,she passed away following a battle with cancer. This hour long lectureship is set to honor her legacy through education in cultural competency for health care providers and communities — Dr. Anton Treuer will be the keynote speaker of the event.

The University of Minnesota Medical School Duluth Campus is hosting a viewing of this zoom in Room 142 in the School of Medicine Building, located at 1035 University Dr. Free parking is available in the maroon lots on the UMD campus.
