Public Meeting Regarding Proposed Water Rate Increases

The Duluth Public Utilities Commission is holding this public meeting by electronic means regarding proposed water rate increases. Members of the public can monitor the meeting and provide public comment on the proposed rate increase through Microsoft Teams. To access the meeting visit duluthmn.gov/live-meeting.

The commission will also hold an in-person public meeting at the commencement of its regular meeting on Jan. 16 at 5:15 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, located on the third floor at Duluth City Hall, 411 W. First St.

The presentation that will be given at the public meetings pertaining to the water rate increase will be posted on the commission’s webpage for public viewing prior to these meetings.

The purpose of these public meetings will be to discuss the current state of the water utility, to explain the proposed changes to the water rates, and to receive comments from the public regarding the proposed changes. Please note that all public comment is considered public data.
