Plant Walk: Fire and Native Plants

Nate Quadhamer of the United States Forest Service leads a tour of fire-dependent ecosystems north of Two Harbors. Starts at an old-growth forest at White Pine Picnic Area, then travels a short drive further up Highway 2 to an area that was recently disturbed during the 2021 Greenwood Fire.

Meet at 9 a.m. at the White Pine Picnic area, 28 miles north of Two Harbors.
