Park Point 5-Miler and 2-Mile Walk 2024

The Park Point 5-Miler is northern Minnesota’s oldest road race. The 53rd annual race starts near the Park Point Pavilion in Duluth and participants run down Minnesota Avenue before finishing back near the pavilion. Participants have the choice of a 5-mile run or a 2-mile walk.
There are also Kids’ Races again this year, which are free and open to ages 14 and under. The course is approximately 150-meters, and the kids’ races start an hour before the big event at 5:30 p.m.
Adult Entry Fee Scale
Jan. 1 to Jan. 15 – $25
Jan. 16 to June 30 – $30
July 1 to race day – $35
The entry fee for ages 18 and under is $10.
The Park Point 5-Miler is part of the KP Challenge series where participants commit to run three Young Athletes Foundation races, including the Saint Fennessy 4K, Fitger’s 5K and Park Point 5-Miler. Net proceeds benefit the Young Athletes Foundation, a Grandma’s Marathon program focused on the promotion and development of youth athletics.
