The 10th annual Operation K-9 highlights the work of K-9s from five area law-enforcement agencies. K-9 teams from the Duluth, Hermantown and Superior police departments and the St. Louis County and Douglas County sheriff’s offices will join forces, demonstrating their abilities.
The event will be held on the track behind Wessman Arena. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.; K-9 demonstrations are from 5 to 7:30.
There will also be law-enforcement vehicles and equipment to tour, plus other family-friendly activities. Donations are encouraged. Food and beverages and K-9 souvenirs will be available for purchase, with proceeds going to the K-9 Foundation. There will also be a silent auction.
