Northland Film School: Introduction to Video Production

Zeitgeist North by North Film School, in partnership with the Minnesota Discovery Center, offers this introductory course providing basic video and audio production lessons. The goal of the course is for students to develop the ability to capture great video images and audio, and to be able to edit those two elements together to tell a story.
Classes meet once a week for four weeks, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Sessions are designed for those age 16 and older. All experience levels are welcome.
During the course, participants will learn:
• The basics of operating a video camera
• The basic principles of how to capture great video and audio
• How to edit video and audio
• How to tell a story by combining video and audio
