Chester Bowl Run and Potluck
Event Navigation
The Northern Minnesota Track Club Spring Trail Series is comprised of six races in Duluth and Superior. This race is at Chester Bowl, a very hilly and technical single-track course following a cross-country ski trail and the Dan Proctor Hiking Trail within the 117-acre Chester Park.
All runners must sign a waiver to participate; only one waiver is needed for the entire year. Dogs are not allowed on NMTC runs. All races are free; donations are accepted. The races start at 6 p.m.; participants should arrive a little early to check in. This is the final race in the spring series, so there will be a potluck afterward and prizes.
Founded in 1981, the Northern Minnesota Track Club is a nonprofit, grass roots running club promoting trail running and managing races in the Duluth/Superior area. Many of its races take place on challenging courses. Everyone is welcome to participate regardless of ability. The goal of the trail runs is to test and improve fitness, enjoy the outdoors and mingle with fellow runners.
