Meet the Authors: Sam Zimmerman, Tony Dierckins and Emily Kilgore

On Small Business Saturday, Zenith Bookstore hosts three local authors who will sign copies of their most recent books.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Sam Zimmerman, artist and author of Following My Spirit Home, a book of art and stories in English and Ojibwemowin, published by Duluth-based Black Bears and Blueberries Publishing.

1 to 3 p.m. – Tony Dierckins, author, along with the late Mary C. Norton, of Duluth’s Grand Old Architecture 1870-1940. Discover Duluth’s celebrated architecture in more than 420 historic photos and sketches.

3 to 5 p.m. – Emily Kilgore’s new children’s book The Christmas Book Flood is a lyrical picture book based on a real Icelandic tradition (one that should be familiar to all holiday followers of Zenith Bookstore).
