June 3 is National Trails Day. Lisa Luokkala, executive director of the Superior Hiking Trail Association will show off the organization’s publications and answer questions.
The store will have copies of the latest printing of the Superior Hiking Trail Guidebook (9th edition), which includes some small additions, as well as the Trail Databook (1st edition) and Trail Atlas.
Lisa Luokkala joined SHTA in 2020, after serving as Senior Parks Planner for the City of Duluth since 2015, where she led planning of parks and trails and implementation of capital infrastructure projects throughout the 11,000 acre park and open space system in the City. She has been a resident of Duluth for 17 years.
