The Duluth Comedy Festival returns with two nights of standup comedy Fab. 16-17. Closing night features Maria Bamford and Jackie Kashian.
Bamford, who grew up in Duluth, is revered for her deeply personal and experimental comedy about mental illness. She starred in the surreal, semi-autobiographical Netflix comedy series Lady Dynamite, about a comedian who suffers a nervous breakdown. She is also the star of three unconventional hour-long stand-up specials.
Show opener Jackie Kashian has a new special Stay-Kashian that debuted at #3 on Billboard’s Comedy Chart.
