Lyric Opera of the North returns to MPAC this June with Cavalleria Rusticana. Enduringly popular and sumptuously beautiful, this one-act opera features Lust, Jealousy, and Betrayal in starring roles. These characters are getting a lot of screen time nowadays, but they've never been heard sounding like they do in Cavalleria Rusticana. This fully staged professional opera is sung in Italian with English supertitles.
