The theme for the 2023 Writing Contest is Connections, the ones made and the ones not. Connections lost and found, accidental or calculated, internal or driven by the outside world are all up for a creative look that brings this concept to life.
Entries will be accepted in four categories: short fiction, short-short fiction, poetry and nonfiction. The entry fee is $40 for the public and $20 for students. This comes with a 2023 LSW membership. For those who have already joined for 2023, this entry fee is paid.
Entries accepted beginning March 1 through April 8. Full details can be found on the LSW website.
