Get the chance to to see the unique arctic plants that can survive the wind and waves of Lake Superior with a plant ecologist who has studied them along the North Shore and along rocky shores of Wisconsin and Michigan.
This event will include walking on uneven bedrock, which can become slippery if it gets wet so make sure you have good shoes. It is also set to be sunny and hot, so don’t forget sunscreen. Please refrain from bringing pets to this event to respect the sensitive plants within this community.
The first Arrowhead Native Plant Explorers meeting is free — events after are $10 per household per meeting.
