Kirov by Night

University of Wisconsin-Superior’s University Theatre hosts a 10-year anniversary production of “Kirov by Night,” the live variety show hosted by Andrew Kirov. The performance will include a guest appearance by Superior Mayor Jim Paine and several comedy sketches featuring UW-Superior graduates.
The show is styled as a late-night talk show similar to The Tonight Show with sketch comedy similar to Saturday Night Live.
Kirov and his ensemble produced five episodes at UW-Superior between March 2012 and May 2013 before becoming the in-house comedy program at the Duluth Playhouse’s Underground Theater from June 2013 to October 2015.
The performance is free, but donations will be accepted to support a project to replace the seating in UW-Superior’s Manion Theatre. Guests are encouraged to arrive early. Masks will be required. The Experimental Theatre is in the Holden Fine and Applied Arts Center on the UW-Superior campus.
