Jonathan Thunder’s Painting Time Workshop

Duluth artist Jonathan Thunder leads this two-hour afternoon painting session. It begins with an introduction to painting techniques Thunder uses in the studio every day.

Participants will work on a toned canvas, white pencil sketching, mixing colors, painting on a canvas followed by a review and time for questions.

All materials are provided. Participants should arrive between 12:45 and 1 p.m. with their ticket. Light refreshments will be available, but attendees should bring their own coffee.

This class is designed for people ages 13 and up who are interested in learning Thunder’s techniques and asking questions about working as a full-time artist. There are 24 seats available for each class. Tickets are available at jonthunder.com. Tickets are good only for the date they are purchased for. Minors should be accompanied by an adult.
