Instructor Lisa McKhann leads this mindfulness meditation practice, covering the basics of “insight meditation,” based in the Theravada Buddhist approach of compassion and awareness. Learn techniques for mindfulness of breath, of thoughts and of emotions.
McKhann is finishing a two-year teaching program with esteemed teachers Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.
Each class will include a brief talk, guided meditation and time for questions. Classes are on 4 Sundays with a suggested donation of $20 to 40 to cover all four classes.
