Students will build hard-cover journals (blank books) from scratch using traditional methods and materials with hand tools and hand-operated bindery equipment. A variety of materials will be available for the choosing so that each student’s project will be unique. All materials, tools and equipment for the projects are supplied by the Tight Squeek Press.
This is a 5 class series Thursday Evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.- January 11th, 18th, 25th; February 1st and 8th. The maximum number of students is six
Jon Hinkel, proprietor of The Tight Squeek Press, will be the class instructor. Jon has been providing hand bookbinding, book repair services and bookbinding classes as part of the Tight Squeek Press offerings for over 14 years.
