In this three-hour class, students learn foundational hand embroidery techniques and stitches. By learning a variety of stitches like couching, seeding and satin stitch, participants will be able to add texture and dimension to their stitching projects, and will craft a completed embroidery during the class to take home.
All supplies are provided by the Duluth Art Institute. The cost is $25 for DAI members and $30 for non-members. Proof of vaccination is required to participate. On the first day of class students must present their vaccine card (or a copy of it) and a form of identification. Masks will be required.
