Intro to Martial Arts Fusion (6-week program)

People 55 and older will be exposed to the basics of martial arts and learn practical self-protection techniques. This class will provide participants with a basic understanding of each of these three programs. (Full programs of each may be offered in the future.)
Jeet Kune Do Fusion
Week 1: Blocks, strikes, low kicks
Week 2: Blocks and counters
Modern Hapkido
Week 3: One- and two-hand breakaways
Week 4: Wrist and joint locks
Cane-Do (practice canes will be provided if you don’t have your own cane)
Week 5: Double- and single-handed cane blocks
Week 6: Strikes and pokes with cane
Registration is for all six weeks, Tuesdays from Jan. 18-Feb. 22, 2022. Please plan to attend them all.
