Injury-Prevention Event

Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospital-Superior is holding its second annual injury-prevention event. The goal is to educate people on best practices to avoid injuries that often accompany summertime activities.

There will be educational resources and demonstrations for bike, water and ATV safety, as well as games, snacks and a bike helmet raffle. A life jacket loaner board, built in partnership with Essentia, the Northwest Regional Trauma Advisory Council and Northwestern High School, will also be donated to the Village of Lake Nebagamon.
