Information Session: Paid Leave

Starting Jan. 1, 2026, Minnesota’s Paid Leave program kicks in. The intent is to provide job protections and partial wage replacement to workers who need time off to care for themselves or a family member.

To help employers prepare and to answer questions about the new state program, Minnesota Paid Leave Director Greg Norfleet and division staff are partnering with local chambers of commerce across Minnesota for a series of regional, in-person engagement sessions to provide employers with program updates, respond to questions and gather feedback.
