I-35 Overnight Closures for Twin Ports Interchange Project

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will conduct nighttime closures of I-35 beginning Aug. 19.
Monday, Aug. 19: Southbound I-35 from 5th Avenue West to 27th Avenue West will close from 8 p.m. through 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20. A detour will follow 5th Avenue West then Superior Street to 27th Avenue West.
Tuesday, Aug. 20: Northbound I-35 sign updates will occur on bridges at 40th Avenue West, 27th Avenue West, and the Highway 53 overpass, from 8 p.m. through 5 a.m. Traffic will be detoured up and down exit/entrance ramps at each location.
Wednesday, Aug. 21: Southbound I-35 from 26th Avenue East to 5th Avenue West will close from 8 p.m. through 5 a.m. A detour will follow London Road and Superior Street from 26th Avenue East to 5th Avenue West.
Thursday, Aug. 22: Southbound I-35 from 5th Avenue West to 27th Avenue West will close from 8 p.m. through 5 a.m. A detour will follow 5th Avenue West then Superior Street to 27th Avenue West.
