The 67th annual Hoyt Lakes Water Carnival runs July 21–24. The festival features softball, volleyball and bean bag tournaments, a 5K race, turtle races, bounce houses, face painting, archery, mini golf, axe throwing, a beer garden, bingo, queen coronation, a parade, fireworks, a Shockwaves water ski show, live music and more.
