Homeless Memorial Vigil

Chum’s annual Homeless Memorial Vigil is an opportunity to remember those who have died in the past year who have also spent much of their lives homeless or advocating for those who are homeless.
At 4:45 p.m. the Chum Food Shelf, 120 N. First Ave. W. will be collecting donations of winter outerwear for street outreach. At 5 p.m., participants will be given a sign bearing the name of someone who has passed away and the group will march in silence to Duluth City Hall for the 5:30 vigil. Chum invites everyone to stand united in remembrance of those who have passed.
An offering will be collected for Chum’s services to those experiencing homelessness.
