The public is invited to an afternoon with Hanna Pylväinen, author of “The End of Drum-Time.” She is a 2023 finalist for the National Book Award for fiction. Her story set is in the 1851 world of Sámi reindeer herders, religion, beliefs, faith and love. Hanna’s work has appeared in “The New York Times,” “The New York Times Magazine”, “The Chicago Tribune,” “The Wall Street Journal” and “Harper’s Magazine.”
