Grand Holler
Event Navigation
Indecent Proposal is the band. There’s no documented connection to the 1993 film of the same name, but the members of Indecent Proposal do hold a place in their hearts for pop culture of that decade. Starting as a 1990s-era cover band, they’ve since written a handful of originals that could land seamlessly into a mixtape of radio hits from that era. But again, no one is saying that Robert Redford tried to seduce any wives. Formed from past projects turning into jam sessions, Josh Brown, Jevin Joki, Peter Dotson and Terry Beckman have locked into a tight set of alternative rock songs designed for having a good time.
Grand Holler is also a band. In 2021, singer-songwriter Andrew James Spaeth put together a band to record songs he’d been performing as a solo acoustic artist. Now his studio band is taking those songs to the stage as the four-piece rock and blues outfit Grand Holler. The single “Serve it Up” first debuted as an acoustic demo on the 2019 movie Get Gone, by producer Michael Thomas Daniel. In December of 2021, a filled-out version of “Serve It Up” was released by Grand Holler as a single. The single was soon followed by the release of the group’s debut album, “Out of the Past.”. Joining Spaeth in the group are Jesse Annala, Mark Erickson and Travis Farleigh.
