Palestine has been leading news for months, but this story began long before Oct. 7. This 2019 documentary covers the long-term struggle of Palestinians trying to survive in Gaza, especially focusing on the Great March of Return of 2018. Gaza Fights for Freedom was created by filmmaker Abby Martin, working with local Palestinian reporters and artists.
6 p.m. is the start of social hour and the film starts at 7 p.m. — there will be an open discussion after the screening.
