Gary-New Duluth Memorial Day Ceremony

The Gary-New Duluth Memorial Day Ceremony honors the sacrifice of veterans from the Duluth’s far western communities — Riverside, Smithville, Morgan Park, Gary-New Duluth, Fond du Lac and the Wisconsin village of Oliver — who gave their lives in service to their country.
The ceremony will be conducted on the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Stowe Street. Refreshments and fellowship will follow at the Gary New Duluth Recreation Center.

The Gary-New Duluth Recreation Center will be open after the ceremony for refreshments and fellowship.
Stowe Street between Commonwealth Avenue and 101st Avenue West will close to traffic for this event from 7 a.m. until approximately 11 a.m. Motorists are urged to drive with caution in the area and watch for barricades and pedestrians.
