Future Forward: Duluth Public Schools November Referendum

The Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a free public Forum in the Harborview Room in the Boat Club Restaurant to help inform Chamber members and the public, about the Duluth Public Schools Referendum. The event is free and open to the public. Registration is appreciated, but not required.
On Tuesday, November 7, district residents will vote on two ballot questions which, if approved, will invest $7.9 million in academic and mental health support positions, new course offerings for high school students and an integrated technology program. The event will include a brief presentation from Superintendent John Magas, followed by a moderated panel discussion.

Lindsay Kern, Parent of ISD 709 Students, Chamber Board Member, Small Business Owner
Jill Lofald, Chair, Duluth Public School – ISD 709 School Board
(Note: this event was originally scheduled to take place in the August Fitger Room at Fitger’s but has now been moved downstairs to the Boat House. Signage will be posted throughout the building.)
