Kristin Ahlberg, 1997 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Superior, speaks as part of the Secretary of State’s Hometown Diplomats Program, designed for Department employees to return to their communities and explain the work of the Department of State, as well as their own work.
Ahlberg will share how her degree from UW-Superior in history and political science helped her launch a successful career as a historian, as well as anecdotal stories and a behind-the-scenes view of her current role at the U.S. Department of State.
The event is in Erlenbach Hall, on the first floor of the Swenson Hall building on the UWS campus.
