Tickets are $10 at the door.
Friend Dog is from Minneapolis with vocals that bring to mind Tom Waits and Blaze Foley alongside an oaken spirit forged from years touring with The Last Revel. Friend Dog is Vinnie Donatelle’s solo project with a nod to the past and a head in the clouds.
McKeon Hugh Roberts is from Grand Rapids. This northern Minnesota songwriter tells stories and plays honest music about living outside and pining over old lovers. Soulful melodies and lyrical melancholy blend nicely along with McKeon’s unique guitar works making for an interesting listen in the realm of classic country and folk.
Superior Siren is from Duluth and is an eerie folk project with music inspired by Lake Superior and Siren mythology. With an alluring and dangerous expression of vulnerability and desire, Superior Siren is led by singer-songwriter and guitarist Laura Sellner. In 2014, Sellner debuted her captivating vocals and poignant songwriting with the solo EP ‘Lotus in the Muck’. In 2016, she joined forces with cellist Rachel Gobin, bassist Nyssa Krause, and drummer Emma Deaner to craft a mesmerizing blend of strings and percussion. The all-female band released a full-length self-titled album in 2018, followed by a tour of the Midwest. In 2021, Superior Siren released another solo collection titled ‘Kill Your Darlings’. Superior Siren continues to perform as a solo or full band act, and is in production of the next full-length album.
