Force of Nature

Adventurer and oil painter Marissa Saurer’s artwork is inspired by her travels to the northernmost countries of the world, and her Sámi heritage. Her paintings reflect the beauty and rugged landscapes of Alaska, Iceland and Arctic Scandinavia, as well as northern Minnesota. Saurer’s art reflects a deep connection to animism and the natural world, seeking to capture its essence in every brushstroke. The paintings transport viewers to a realm where nature is more than just a backdrop; it becomes a force that beckons connection with its spiritual and mystical dimensions.

Twenty percent of all sales will be donated to the Arctic Slope Native Association, promoting the health and well-being to the indigenous peoples of the North Slope of Alaska.
