Event Navigation

Basic income is a social welfare proposal that has been tried out in a variety of settings and involves the government regularly providing a set amount of money to every citizen, without conditions like employment or wealth. The goal of basic income is to help people meet basic needs and reduce poverty. Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Duluth member Sue Dailey will be presenting updated information about this policy and what can be learned and done about it in northern Minnesota.
