DXC Winter Warmup

The Duluth Cross Country Ski Club’s Winter Warmup celebrate skiers and skiing, with a focus on funding for youth ski programming. The event is in the Grand Avenue Chalet at the base of Spirit Mountain and features live music by Boxcar.
Food will be provided by Baptism River Barbecue with a vegetarian option from Whole Foods Coop. Drinks will be available at the Riverside Bar, with a special drink from Vikre Distillery. There will be a silent auction with items from Yker Acres, Simple Gifts Syrup and Salmon, sailing excursions, hockey tickets, textiles, ceramics, ski lessons from an Olympian, physical therapy sessions, a handcrafted paddle and more. Also, all new DXC merchandise will be on display: mugs, caps, sweatshirts, workout shirts.
Tickets are available at the door and online at duluthxc.com. Proceeds will help support operating costs for DXC’s flagship youth cross-country ski program, SkiSparkz, held at Spirit Mountain. Funds will also support junior/youth skiers who are training to compete at the national level and scholarships for young skiers in the SkiSparks program.
