Duluth’s Best Bread Hefeweizen Release Party

Duluth breweries and cideries make Duluth’s Best Bread-themed beers and ciders. Some locations will include kid-friendly events with yard games and education.
Brewer Dave Hoops and DBB baker Michael Lillegard agree that there’s something beautiful about ancient styles and traditional techniques. Both Hefeweizen and country loaf sourdough use pure Lake Superior water, fermentation, yeast, old fashioned German methods and wheat. At this all-ages party, learn about how bread and beer are made. Play with grains, get sticky with live bread starter and ask questions. There will also be coloring sheets for the littlest learners.
