Duluth-stämman Workshop: Finish Kantele

Attendees can learn how to play the five-string Kantele, a Baltic psaltery that is Finland’s national instrument. Diane Jarvi covers tuning, different fingering positions, chords and songs to sing. Instruments are available to use at the workshop.

This workshop is part of the the second annual Duluth-stämman: Nordic Music and Dance Festival, which offers dances, workshops, jam circles, performances and youth activities that aim to be inclusive to people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
