The 20th annual Senior GO Show is for adults age 55 and older who are planning ahead for retirement (or already retired) but still going. GO is an acronym for “getting older.” The event features nearly 100 exhibitors, live entertainment, seminars, services and samples.
Exhibitors will have information on healthcare, insurance, living options, travel, financial planning, recreation opportunities and more. Essentia Health Pharmacy will be offering flu and COVID-19 vaccines at booths 29 and 30. New this year are Parkinson’s boxing demonstrations led by regional boxing legend Zach “Jungle Boy” Walters, and a timely seminar presented by AARP titled *Our Voices Decide: Social Security & Support for Family Caregivers.” This session will focus on the critical roles that Social Security and caregiving play, and what’s at stake for both in the upcoming election. Attendees can also look forward to the return of the popular pickleball demonstrations.
There will also be live music by Donny Buck, the Blue Water Big Band, and the official GO Show music ambassador Rickey Lee Biggs.
Free tickets are available, while supplies last, at all area Essentia Pharmacies, Mediqwest in Superior and Perkins Family Restaurants in Duluth, Superior and Cloquet.
