Duluth Arbor Day Celebration and Pop Up Play

It’s Arbor Day. While the rest of the country celebrates in April, our long winters and cold spring make us celebrate in the fall. The fall is a great time to plant trees. Parks and Rec staff will teach about the urban forest and what the City of Duluth is doing to replace those trees lost to emerald ash borer. Participants will also learn about “Edible Duluth”, the public orchards in 16 locations throughout the city. Games and activities will be available for Pop Up Play, too.
