Duluth All Souls Night 2024

The 17th annual Duluth All Souls Night is an arts festival centered on grief, honoring ancestors and reimagining the future.
The multicultural arts event observes the change of season with displays, ceremony, spectacle, poetry, fire spinning and live music. This year’s events will be held in the Lake Superior Railroad Museum and the Duluth Public Library’s outdoor plaza.
Lake Superior Railroad Museum
4:30 p.m. – Oasis del Norte food truck open in the museum’s plaza
5:30 p.m. – Train station doors open; performance by Northern Lights Aerials
6 p.m. – Opening ceremony with Jillian Forte, bagpipes by Sara Sha, Funeral March for Rotten Ideas
8 p.m. – Closing ceremony with Spin Collective fire dances outside on the railroad plaza
Downtown Library Outdoor Pavilion
Projections by Daniel Benoit and River Aquamann
6:15 p.m. – Library Plaza Community Spiral Dance led by Helen Makela
6:30 p.m. – Reading of Rotten Ideas by Jillian Forte, Grim Reaper
6:45 p.m. – Michigan Street Puppet Procession back to the railroad museum with the Boys Back Home brass band with giant Max Skeleton

7:15 p.m. – Sadkin, alternative pop
This is a freewill donation event. The suggested amount is $10 to help the artists.

Viewing available during museum hours: Oct. 23 to Nov. 2, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
