Coming from a long line of musically inept Norwegian Farmers and born without natural talent, Drew Peterson tackled his musical endeavors the way he had been taught while growing up on a farm in rural MN with hard work and a lot of practice. MN folksinger-songwriter Kelley Smith recently released her first EP “Moon Child.” Smith is a guitar picker with an old-timey vocal vibe. “Kelley has performance sparkle that’s simply youthful. It belies innocence without being sugary…Kelley is similar in tradition to New Zealand’s marvelous Jenny Mitchell. Ladies who don’t adhere to the path of showboating yet exhibit extraordinary songwriting & performance skills.” – Americana Highways
Dave Mehling, is a Minnesota-based songwriter, performer and educator. Most recently he released “Tired Fruit,” an album of ambient compositions, and “Beach Boy,” a smorgasbord of musical styles ranging from folk and electronic to drone and avant-garde.
This is an all ages show with tickets starting at $10 available online and $15 at the door.
