This double-dogged event features local bands Saltydog and Feed the Dog. There will be a costume contest and prizes. Doors open at 7 p.m., Saltydog plays at 8 p.m. and Feed the Dog plays at 9:45 p.m. This is a 21+ event.
Duluth-based northwoods funk jam band Saltydog consists of Jacob Mahon on guitar and vocals, drummer Owen “Owie” Mahon (who also does vocals), Sam Deters on guitar, Gavin St. Clair on keys, Bryan “Lefty” Johnson on percussion and Calvin “Calzone” Lund on bass.
Feed the Dog is an eclectic and action-packed, experimental jam-grass act. The Midwest-based four-piece group masterfully blends soul-pleasing songwriting rich in imagery and storytelling with a genre bending, shake-your-hips, instrumental flair.
