Designers can pick from a rainbow of colors and shapes. And then watch a demo where glass-blowers twirl and shape molten glass. The process takes about 30 minutes. Ornaments need to anneal in the kiln overnight and will be ready for pickup after 3:30 P.M. the following day.
Patrons receive a free ticket to Lake Superior Zoo Lights, an annual event at the local zoo.
Ornaments can be designed throughout the month of December.
