“Demystifying Sewing Machines” is a hands-on class. Students will learn about sewing machines, how a stitch is formed and learn how to thread the machines and winding bobbins. Students will also explore needle types and sizes, learning how to match them to different threads and materials.
Skill Level/Prerequisite Skills: No special skills required.
Best for Ages: 18 and older
Students should bring: If you have your own sewing machine that you would like to learn about you can bring it. Some students also like to bring a notebook and something to write with.
