Community Action Duluth Free Tax Site Opens 2023

Community Action Duluth is offering free tax preparation to qualifying households starting Feb. 6. Individuals and families making up to $58,000 a year will qualify for these services.

This year tax preparation will be available either virtually or documents may be dropped off at the tax site. To sign up for virtual services visit communityactionduluth.org. Participants will need an email address, a way to take digital photographs of documents and the ability to participate in Zoom meetings.

Those who would rather drop off paperwork in person will need to pick up a packet at Community Action Duluth, complete it, and bring it back with relevant tax documents. Beginning Jan. 25, the office is open Monday through Friday 9-4 p.m. to pick up a packet to fill out before arriving at the clinic to shorten your wait.

In-person clinics are currently planned for Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 9 a.m. Clinics are subject to change due to staffing.
