Clough Island Paddle and Buckthorn Pull

The Friends of the Lake Superior Reserve and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources are in exploring Clough Island and seeking to improve habitat for native flora and fauna. This volunteer opportunity includes canoeing out to the island in the morning to help clear buckthorn throughout the day while learning about the ecology and history of the island. There will be a break for lunch.

This volunteer opportunity requires strenuous physical activity including bending over, pulling and lifting objects repeatedly.
