Chasing Dragonflies

Join Tettegouche State Park Naturalist Kurt Mead for a short talk about dragonflies and then a day in the field, chasing and identifying these charismatic microfauna. There will be a carpool up towards Isabella, Minnesota to visit a variety of habitats to see what’s flying. Nets will be available from the park. Come prepared to walk in wet environments. Some sites will take a moderate amount of effort to get in and out of. Expect uneven footing as we will not be spending much time on trails. Pack a lunch, snacks, bug spray, sunscreen, and anything else that you need for a fun day afield.
