The Central Hillside Farmers Market is every Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m. near the Essentia Health campus at the corner of E. Third St. and N. Fifth Ave. E. across from 503 E. Third St. The market features a variety of local vendors selling produce, meat, baked goods, eggs, canned goods, honey, crafts, health products, garden and bedding plants and more.
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program participants using an electronic benefit transfer card at the market can receive matching market bucks. The full match is a $15 swipe, which is accompanied by $25 in Hunger Solutions market bucks.
The Power of Produce program offers $4 in tokens to people 60 and over and kids 18 and under to spend on produce at each market.
