The opening day of the Central Hillside Farmers Market takes place on June 13th from 2-5 p.m. at an Essentia Health parking lot across from 503 E. 3rd St., Duluth and will feature Steve Solkela’s Overpopulated One Man Band. The music is supported by Affinity Plus Credit Union.
The Power of Produce (PoP) program will be back again this summer for those under 18 and over 60 years of age, offering $4 in tokens to spend on produce at the market. There will also be the SNAP market buck match for folks using an EBT card. Swiping an EBT card for $15 receives an additional $25 in matching market bucks to spend at the market.
The Central Hillside Farmers Market will be held every Tuesday through the end of September.
