Learn to carve a female face in relief out of a piece of basswood that is a little less than 1 inch in thickness but 14 inches wide and 11 inches tall. Go through several steps to learn about face proportions and how to remove the right amounts of wood in various places across the carving in order to make it look realistic. Registration is required.
