C.J. Ham Football Camp
Event Navigation
Minnesota Vikings fullback C.J. Ham holds his fifth annual youth football skills camp with two sessions — 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. The first session is for 1st-5th graders; the second for 5th-9th graders.
The camp will include one-on-one football instruction and will focus on character development, leadership and sportsmanship. Participants will receive hands-on training from some of the region’s most experienced players and coaches, while also being taught valuable life skills such as teamwork and dedication.
Additionally, there will be frequent off-the-field conversations about leadership, work ethic and education, as Ham stresses the importance of these intangibles in leading to a healthy and successful life.
Participating campers will each receive a camp T-shirt, an autographed card from Ham, and water and snacks.
Ham is a 2011 graduate of Denfeld High School, where he excelled in football and track. He continued in both sports at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, S.D. In 2016 Ham was signed to the Minnesota Vikings practice squad. He made the 53-man roster in 2017 and in 2018 became the starting fullback. Ham has been recognized as one of the NFL’s premier blocking and short-yardage backs.
Tickets are available at humanitix.com. All proceeds will go toward diversity scholarships in the Duluth area.
